Top 5 News and Magazines Apps in Lithuania Q2 2023 Performance

The second quarter of 2023 saw varied performance among the top News and Magazines apps in Lithuania. Below, we detail the weekly downloads and active user trends for the leading apps, according to Sensor Tower data.

LRT.lt had fluctuating weekly downloads throughout the quarter. Downloads peaked at approximately 3K in the week of May 8, following a general upward trend earlier in the quarter. However, the app saw a significant drop towards the end of the quarter, reaching a low of around 47 downloads in the week of June 19.

Way2News Daily News App maintained a consistent download rate, averaging around 160-200 downloads per week. The app also experienced a steady increase in weekly active users, starting from 2.6K at the beginning of the quarter and reaching approximately 3.6K by the end of June.

Opera News: breaking & local had relatively stable weekly download numbers, hovering around the 90-110 range. The app's active users showed a slight fluctuation, starting at 1.2K and ending at about 1.2K as well, with minor variations throughout the quarter.

Hindi News by Dainik Bhaskar saw a modest increase in weekly downloads, with numbers ranging between 50 and 80. Active users for the app also showed a gradual rise, from 427 at the beginning of the quarter to 582 by the end of June.

Delfi.lt experienced a significant drop in weekly downloads early in the quarter, from 943 to as low as 62. However, the app saw a slight recovery towards the end of the quarter, with downloads reaching 146 in the final week of June.
